Our jam selection

Everyday, the first thing I do when I get into the office is to get myself some toast and a cup of tea with no exception this morning, I opened the fridge and I just couldn’t help laughing at our huge jam selections: strawberry, raspberry, rhubarb, apricot, marmalade with peel, clear marmalade, red cherry, blueberry, not to mention peanut better, marmite, margarine, butter spread, olive oil spread..  geez, we have a bigger selection than a 5 star hotel! Out of curiosity, I then searched through all the cupboards, and just to name a few:
at least 5 different type of fruit teas (me, being the only person who drink fruit tea in this office)
millions of English tea bags
3 boxes of green tea
8 cartons of filter coffee
7 boxes of cereals and breakfast porridge
after biscuits
Bless Kevin, he’s obviously been shopping again. Seriously though, if I am the boss and having to pay for all these excessive stuff I would go mental, bear in mind we are only a small company! I think he’s obsessed with filling the cupboards.
Been quite busy the past couple of days. It’s good to be busy though… was down Oxford Street for a meeting yesterday, I would normally try anything to avoid Oxford Street (and any busy shopping mall and High Street really) I have worked near Oxford Street for 5 years previously and I can’t tell you how much I hate it there, all those shoppers, tourists and the traffics.. you get the drift!! and thinking about it, Oxford Street contributes a big part toward my fear of shopping.
I always thought I hate shopping because of my previous role as a product developer, I had to go ’shopping’ at least once a week to look for new ideas and inspirations, popping into everything single shops up and down Oxford Street mostly, it has really ground me down after two years.
I just don’t understand how girls can go shopping as a leisure and they never get enough of it! I do all my shopping over the internet these days… The last ’severe’ shopping I did was in HK over the X’mas period, and the time before that was probably the New Year sales two years ago, Mike dragged me all the way to Bluewater. Haha, but Mike knows the rule, no more than two hours of it at a time or I will start getting all grumpy!
