Not ashamed of reading Harry Potter
The 6th Harry Potter’s released Satursday 16th. Both children and adults were queuing outside book store at mid-night to get their hands on the latest Harry Potter. Some even finished the whole book by the next day! The whole world has gone crazy!
I must admit I do like Harry Potter too.
Once I had a debate with someone about how an adult justify reading a children’s book. For me, it is no different to other fantasy fictions.
The Harry Potter series have sold over 270 milion copies and have been translated into over 25 different languages, it cannot be all that bad can it? I’m not ashame of reading it.
I do wonder though… it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s input from editors or some sort, the latter seems far more ‘intricate’ compare with the first two books, not to mention it gets scarier every time.
Well, I have just started mine but I’m such a slow reader so I guess it’s going to take a while…. sure I will give you my verdict, if you are inetrested
